M+J's College Football Week 2 Upset Watch/Picks

UPSET WATCH- WEEKEND GAMES
Colorado over Nebraska
The Huskers struggled at times with South Alabama before pulling away. A trip to Boulder should be a tough challenge for the Huskers. The Buffalos should be ready as the underdog in this old rivalry and will be fired up to win this renewed rivalry for the 2nd year in a row.

Maryland over Syracuse
The Terps had an offensive explosion- 79 PTS against Howard and shut them out. The Orange shutout Liberty. Which is for real? The Orange/Terps Defense or the Terps offense? These questions should be answered in College Park on Saturday.

BYU over Tennessee
Both teams are in desperate need for a win here. The Vols are coming off an embarrassing home loss to Georgia State as the Cougars come off another Holy War loss to the Utes. The pressure is on both teams but the Vols will likely feel more pressure at home. The offense that shows up and makes big plays will likely win this game in a low scoring battle.

Coastal Carolina over Kansas
The Jayhawks had to come from behind to beat Indiana State last week as the Chanticleers fell short against Eastern Michigan. This game will likely be close as the Chanticleers appear to be a tougher opponent than Indiana State. Will Les Miles be able to avoid the upset?

Ohio over Pittsburgh
Pitt really struggled last week at home against Virginia and now host a dangerous Ohio team that have had this game circled the entire offseason. The Panthers better be ready to get things back on track. The upset-minded Bobcats are coming to conquer. Will Pitt avoid the upset?

Kennesaw State over Kent State
The Owls football program is fairly new but has made a lot of noise in FCS during its short tenure and will get their opportunity against a FBS team. The Golden Flashes better be ready to play otherwise they could be the next victim to lose to a FCS team.

Southern Illinois over UMass
The Minutemen got blown out against mighty Rutgers week one and pretty much always need to be on upset alert when playing a FCS team. The Salukis are not a very strong FCS team but will still be motivated to play UMass and take their shot at an upset.
