UPSET WATCH- WEEKEND GAMES

Miami (FL) over Virginia

The Hurricanes have not been as bad as their 2-3 record might show. Virginia comes to town ranked for a Friday Night battle with their only loss being to Notre Dame. Virginia has not looked to wowing yet, and this could be a trap for an upset.

Temple over Memphis

Temple has looked pretty good with the exception of their game at Buffalo. The Owls are at home against a ranked and undefeated Memphis team that may be playing with a not to lose strategy. Usually when you play like that the pressure can get to you.

Houston over Cincinnati

Cincinnati is ranked for defeating a UCF team that is not as good as previous years. Cincy is pretty good but did not look great at all against Ohio State. On the other hand, Houston was competitive in losses to Tulane, Washington State, and Oklahoma, so they definitely are not a team to sleep on. Since this game is at Houston, an upset seems likely.

Hawaii over Boise State

Hawaii has wins over Arizona and Oregon State and have only lost to Washington. They seem to be a legit threat to win the MWC. Boise State is at home on their blue turf, which is always a home field advantage. This could be round one of the MWC Championship which could fall either way.

Arizona over Washington

Arizona upset Colorado on the road last week. Tate is back, and the Wildcats return home for a game against Washington. The Huskies have already lost twice including at home to Cal and at Stanford and are road favorites here. Losing to Stanford last week has to make an upset here seem promising. Arizona has won 4 in row and currently leads the PAC-12 South.
