UPSET WATCH
Florida State, Miami FL, and UCF all finally get to play their 2nd games of the season three weeks later. How will they respond after Hurricane Irma postponed/canceled the previous two weeks of their season? All three should be very fresh compared to their opponents. Will this help or will they be rusty? How will each fair this weekend?
Toledo over Miami FL
Upset-Minded Toledo at 3-0 will certainly be ready to play in Miami. The Hurricanes should be super motivated to finally play game 2 of the season. With only one game of experience against Bethune-Cookman, they take on their first FBS team of the season in Toledo. The Rockets are already 3-0 on the season. Will Toledo's season experience give them an advantage? Will Miami's fresh legs give them an advantage? It will be interesting to see how the Hurricanes perform after a long break.
NC State over Florida State
The Seminoles got beat up in their only game of the season against Alabama. They have likely benefited a lot with two weeks off to recuperate and prepare for NC State. The Wolfpack come in at 2-1 and like almost every other team in college football, they have three games under their belt. Usually three games, teams have answered a lot of questions about their team. Francois is out for the season and James Blackman will make his first start as quarterback. How will Blackman respond? Will the Seminoles be rusty or hungry? Can the Wolfpack's three game experience help them pull off the upset?
Arizona over Utah
The Wildcats have given the Utes fits the last five seasons winning 4 out of 5. The game is in Tucson. It will be interesting to see how QB Brandon Dawkins runs the offense against a great Utah defense. He struggled against Ed Oliver and the Houston Cougars. Both teams are coming off great offensive games against San Jose State and UTEP where Utah QB Tyler Huntley and Arizona QB Brandon Dawkins had big nights. The Wildcat defense has improved from last season. Which Quarterback's performance will carry into this week? Defense will likely be a factor in this game as whichever quarterback can find more rhythm on offense should come away with victory.
Kentucky over Florida
This game should be low scoring as these offensives particularly Florida's won't even attract painters from their drying paint. Kentucky is off to a pretty good start and might be in position to finally beat Florida as the Gators come to town struggling to move the ball. Last week's ending might give the Gators positive momentum though, but this might be the day the Wildcats finally get it done after 30 years of waiting.
Purdue over Michigan
The Boilermakers have improved a lot from last season. The defense really shut down Missouri's offense and should be able to help give Purdue a chance at home against Michigan. In the last 2 games, the Wolverines have been able to pull away late against Cincinnati and Air Force at home. This will be their first true road game of the season. Upset-minded Purdue is ready to make statement this weekend. The Boilermakers played Louisville to the end at a neutral site. Jim Harbaugh's team needs to take control early and steal the momentum.
Western Illinois over Coastal Carolina
If a FCS team can beat a FBS team this week, this one shows potential. Western Illinois is 2-0 on the season as the Chanticleers are 1-1. Coastal Carolina's win came against 0-4 Massachusetts and lost to UAB last week. There is a chance this could be the best team Coastal Carolina has played this season. Western Illinois is ranked 21 in the latest FCS Poll. The Chanticleers better not sleep on the Leathernecks or they will be added to the list of FBS teams who have lost to FCS teams this season.

North Carolina over Duke
Arguably the best rivalry in college basketball takes the football field this Saturday in Chapel Hill. The Blue Devils are off to a 3-0 start with wins over Northwestern and Baylor. The Tar Heels put one in the win column last week against Old Dominion and return home this weekend where they are looking for their first home win of the season after losing to Cal and Louisville. In rivalry games, the underdog loves the opportunity to ruin the other's season. In this case, North Carolina can give Duke their first loss. This should be an exciting game where the defense that steps up and makes big plays should win this game.
Mississippi State over Georgia
Nick Fitzgerald and Mississippi State crushed the LSU Tigers last week and have a lot of confidence heading to Athens this Saturday. This game features possibly the two biggest challengers to Alabama in the SEC. The Georgia Bulldog defense has been stout this season. Confidence will be the key ingredient in this matchup. Does Nick Fitzgerald have the confidence to lead his team to another big win? The defenses will likely make this a defensive style matchup where the playmakers on offense should decide the game. Will it be Nick Chubb and Jake Fromm or Nick Fitzgerald and Aeris Williams? A chance for Fitzgerald to enhance his Heisman champaign awaits.
